Blog Closing - Please Use Main Blog Now

Thanks to all who have followed DAK. The show will soon be wrapping up, but before it does, I want us to get a few more ideas out there and explore just a little more of this man's unusual mind.

However I will be no longer updating this blog. Andy himself could never really be bothered to support it with content like he promised he would, but then that is Andy to a T is it not? If anything, this goes to show further insight into the man.

From now on, you can follow all DAK updates and everything else I do via my personal creative updates blog which you can find here - http://robert-james-freemantle.blogspot.com/

Thanks to all who followed the show up until now, and I'll look forward to sharing more projects with you down the line. Oh and don't worry, I'm sure I'll be keeping you updated with Andy one way or another. If you follow the main blog you won't miss a thing I announce about him.

So You're In The Know

You've had the chance to see two new types of episodes by now. The News & Updates ones and the Ranjit ones. News on this then.
Next episode #99 is going to be another News/Updates one. This time we'll FINALLY get to see Andy's Tolopotos drawing! you can see that this upcoming Sunday.

You'll perhaps have also noticed that the news and Ranjit ones each have their own playlists too. This way, even if you are a person who doesn't like the format and prefers the straight up what he "duzn't" know format, you can skip them by sticking to the playlist you like.

I had a suggestion from one viewer that I ought to collect together all of the DAK "best of" bits and make a compilation episode for #100. I've always found this enforced feeling one gets from "milestone" numbers a bit hard to swallow. That and I really don't think I have the time to go through every episode and compile all of that, for the viewer numbers the show still has. If we were having thousands or hundreds of thousands of hits then I could perhaps justify diverting A LOT of my precious time to doing it.
I do have a lot on my plate in real life, lots of commitments and other interests/hobbies/channels. I have a family life I need to take care of too, people who rely on me.

If someone else wanted to make a "best of Andy" as they see it, about 3 or 4 mins long as a big push to make it viral, then heck go ahead, but if you do, please make sure you upload it as private and send it to me so I can upload it on the main channel. I would credit and link to you for compiling it and even allow your video of you talking about it, if you so wished.

Episode 100 still needs to be filmed. I'm thinking it's going to be a challenge episode, but this all depends on what the standard of the material is.

101 is the last of the Ranjit trilogy. Not sure what else you'll be seeing yet, as it hasn't been filmed.

New Feature: Updates & News - Coming Soon

A new type of episode is coming your way, DAK viewers. 'Updates & News' will carry a date in its title that it applies to.
In these episodes we will keep you up to date on background information about the show and what is new with Andy and I, perhaps in a manner that we normally might not within the scope of the normal show itself.
There are things to inform you of, to keep you abreast of. Things like, what is going on with Andy's African Girlfriend right now? How does the situation stand? Is he going back there? Will he still be getting married?
The initial concept is to place them in length at around the 8-12 minutes mark each, roughly.

You will be able to watch the first of these episodes this upcoming Monday 3rd October as DAK #93. Check it out and let us know what you think of it.

We filmed much more than we are able to use actually, so if the information in it still applies come the next episode, we could use more of that, perhaps to tell you more.

As always viewers, thanks for sticking with the programme. We've been on a long trip together and it's always fun to try something new.

See you there!
