Next episode #51 will be titled RE: R.E. A religious based Q&A session where I test Andy's basic comprehension of religious knowledge. We had so much fun after all with Noah's Ark didn't we?
Episode #52 'Challenge Wrap A Present' will be exactly what it sounds like.
After that the current plan is to make #53 a new 'I'm Just Saying' episode where I test Andy's knowledge of known sayings and if he actually understands what they mean.
For #54 I either plan to run another general ignorance Q&A episode or use one of the viewer submitted questions. It's all rather good and I can't decide what to use just yet. When I come to edit it then we'll see I suppose. Either way, this will give you a clue to what the following episode might be about too.

Pre-Release Info For Episodes 48 and 49
48 is going to be about Andy's knowledge or lack thereof of famous authors and the works he should have heard of...SHOULD have that is...
49 will see a continuation of the show's spiritual musical band 'Arctic Monkeys', in that it will feature a song from their 'Favourite' Worst Nightmare' album. In this episode we will simply be taking a tour from Andy's front door up into his bedroom, seeing what he sees on his way there and commenting as we go.
See you there!

Facebook Page Shutdown & Update On Releases
I have decided that I dislike facebook to the degree that I don't want to be a part of it anymore. This unfortunately means that Duz Andy Know?'s facebook page will also close. But quite honestly, if you haven't seen the videos on youtube yet, then there's not much more I can do. Anyone wanting to keep up should of course sub the series via Youtube itself. You can still get your Andy related updates on here as well, of course.
As for the "days are numbered" post I made - yes I can certainly see a conclusion on the horizon still. I'm not a mug after all - I won't keep making videos if youtube won't give better public access to new unknown creative content. Many people are indeed complaining about Youtube's commercialism of late - and how restrictive it even is to see updates for videos that you're subscribed to! Gosh!
I am planning on making some more DAK episodes, even though there hasn't been a release in a little while. This isn't helped of course by the fact that arranging a filming session with Andy is about as difficult as nailing jelly to a tree. He's a slippery snake of a customer, that one. I might even make an episode about that very thing...hmmm...
Again though, I emplore those who are interested in the concept of the show: Please submit fresh ideas for content. If I like it, I'll use it. You will have the intrigue and pride of seeing your idea on screen as well.

Duz Andy Know? Days Are Numbered?
The thing with a show like DAK. You need a lot of viewers. Youtube doesn't make that easy these days, with its promotions heavily focusing on the big branded contracts who pay THEM. A lot of people don't know the show exists and marketing has proved to be difficult (because it's so) restrictive within youtube.
The reason lots of viewers are the lifeblood of the show is that I can only think of so many things to ask him. There comes a time when the viewers contributions of questions/challenges for him need to take me by surprise and aid in making the show. With (at the time of writing) 43 episodes done, I think I've worked really hard for the very low amount of views it has actually had - but continued episodic output in those conditions is not feasable for a finite time.
Therefore, what I am trying to say is that it would appear that DAK is going to be pulling to a close soon. There are a few more ideas I would like to get done, but without enough support and mass interest the show cannot go on.
Of course, it doesn't help that a number of viewers feel there is something morally wrong with the making of the show. The public's opinion of it is usually divided. It has its hardcore fans (a cult following?), I'll say that, but they aren't enough alone. I justify the show always, by saying the following:
Andy is not mentally disabled in any way. He hasn't concentrated or bothered to retain anything in life, so he doesn't know anything. He is the absolute greatest example of ignorance I have ever seen. I see the show as a tongue in cheek documentary, tracking his mind in an attempt to understand just how ignorant he actually is. That is therefore the comedy angle. I can cite another show that does the same thing: 'The Ricky Gervais Show'. If you don't know what that is, give it a look on google - and look for Karl Pilkington too. Karl is to Ricky what Andy is to me.
That's the other thing with a show like this. It is fresh and dangerous. It goes into new ground, (as the Ricky Gervais Show was a radio prog before a T.V. one and as a viewable media, DAK tuhsly pre-dates it).
